The HOWL R1 is the most portable propane fire pit HOWL builds. Legs folded, it packs down to about the size of a shoebox, so it fits in drawer systems, van garages, Aluboxes and rooftop cargo boxes. Unfold the GullWing legs, hook up a tank and you have 32-inch flames at camp.
HOWL's A-Flame burner uses 160 micro-emitters to throw tall, fully exposed flames on very little fuel. With no bowl or box hiding the fire, all of the propane you burn turns into usable light. Run it wide open for about 8 hours on a 20 lb tank, or turn it down with the adjustable regulator and stretch a tank across a long trip.
No smoke, embers, sparks or ash. The R1 is UL certified and usable during many Stage I and Stage II fire restrictions where gas appliances are allowed. Always check your local regulations.
